The first commercially available single barrel bourbon in the world. Industry icon Colonel Blanton created his very special and limited supply of bourbon - his private reserve - handpicked and stored in what now is known as the famous Warehouse H at the Buffalo Trace Distillery for his friends and family. In memory of his time spent with the Colonel, the legendary Elmer T Lee released the first Blanton’s Original Single Barrel in 1984 to critical acclaim. Today both legends live on in Blanton’s Original Single barrel as does the bourbon carefully aging in the Warehouse H at the Buffalo Trace Distillery.
